Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Pingbot, a multi-tenant WhatsApp AI automation platform provided by 7Unit Innovations (“7Unit”, “we”, “us”). By subscribing, connecting a WhatsApp number, or using Pingbot, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
Pingbot connects to the official Meta WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) and automates customer conversations on a dedicated WhatsApp Business number registered to your business. Capabilities include lead qualification, appointment booking, order capture, multilingual replies, approved template messaging outside the 24-hour window, human handover, daily summaries, and a tenant dashboard — as described on getpingbot.com and in your plan.
Numbers on the Cloud API cannot simultaneously run in the consumer WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app. We provision a new dedicated number or migrate an existing number with your explicit consent.
Initial onboarding is concierge-assisted (typically live within three business days). Meta business verification and display-name approval timelines are outside our control.
Your account and responsibilities
You represent that you have authority to bind your business and agree to:
- Provide accurate business information, pricing, availability, and policies for the bot
- Upload and maintain your knowledge base so the bot answers from your facts
- Comply with Meta WhatsApp Business, Commerce, and template policies
- Collect and document customer opt-in before messaging, and honour opt-out (STOP) requests
- Review AI replies during the tuning period and report inaccuracies promptly
- Not use Pingbot for spam, fraud, illegal activity, harassment, or prohibited content
You remain responsible for compliance with laws applicable to your industry and region, including consumer protection, healthcare, financial services, and advertising rules where relevant. Pingbot is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
AI-generated replies and human handover
Replies are generated using Anthropic models grounded in your knowledge base and persona. Despite guardrails and tuning, AI output may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Pingbot is designed to escalate to a human when confidence is low, when requested, or when required by policy. You should monitor conversations, especially during onboarding.
When a conversation enters human takeover, automated replies pause until you resume the bot from the dashboard or via the agreed command.
WhatsApp platform rules
Pingbot depends on Meta's WhatsApp API, which may change pricing, limits, or policies without notice. Platform outages or enforcement actions are outside our control.
Free-form replies are allowed only within 24 hours of a contact's last inbound message. Outside that window, only approved templates may be sent. We enforce this centrally in our outbound sender.
Each number has messaging tiers and a quality rating (GREEN / YELLOW / RED). We monitor quality and may throttle or pause non-essential outbound messaging for a tenant if quality limits are at risk.
Plans, billing, and setup
Subscription fees, message limits, and features are as published on the pricing page unless otherwise agreed in writing. A one-time setup fee covers number provisioning, bot training on your business, and the initial tuning period.
Payments for India tenants are processed via Razorpay in INR and may be invoiced through 7Unit Softwares with applicable GST. UAE or other international billing may be handled through 7Unit Innovations LLC-FZ where agreed. Your billing entity is recorded at onboarding.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. If payment fails, we apply a graduated enforcement ladder: grace period with reminders, then soft suspend (fallback message and owner alerts), then hard suspend after the period stated in your agreement. We do not abruptly silence your number without notice where avoidable.
We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Data ownership and privacy
You own your customer data and conversation history. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy to deliver the service. You grant us a limited licence to use your business content solely to operate Pingbot for your account.
You may export data from the dashboard. On termination, export is available subject to applicable retention and legal requirements.
Availability and support
We target high availability for the message pipeline but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, VPS recovery, or third-party outages may cause temporary disruption. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where practical.
Support is provided during business hours via WhatsApp and email as per your plan. Critical platform incidents are monitored and alerted to our operations team.
Acceptable use and suspension
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, Meta policy violations, abuse, non-payment after the grace ladder, or conduct that threatens platform quality or other tenants. You remain liable for fees incurred before termination.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Pingbot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7Unit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost business — including missed leads, incorrect AI replies, or Meta platform outages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold 7Unit harmless from claims arising from your use of Pingbot, your customer messaging practices, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
